New House Pictures!

I'm sorry this has taken me so long! We had some computer problems and then we were in FL for a little while. I have pictures of that too. :-) We both really enjoyed spending time with my family and meeting the Stone family and the Lynn family. :-) Anyway, I hope you enjoy these pictures. I am not posting any pictures of the office yet because it's a mess, but when we get it set up I'll post some.

Here is the kitchen.

This is the livingroom.

The bathroom...
The laundry room....

The hallway from the kitchen to the bedroom....

And Bell on the bed. :-(

Our front porch.

The front walkway.

I love these flowers! They are climbing all over the front porch! :-)

Patsy likes them too. :-)

I like watching the hummingbirds that come to drink from the feeder on my porch. :-)
I hope you all enjoyed these and that you have a wonderful day!!

Hello everyone. First of all, I wanted to thank you all for your prayers! I know they helped us a lot through a difficult time. God is good! A friend of mine who has had a couple miscarriages reminded me yesterday that the same God who chose to allow that little life to begin also chose to draw it back to him, that His plan is perfect and he will use every situation for good, and that one day we will get to meet our babies in heaven- just after we get to meet our God face to face and praise Him. What a wonderful day that will be! When I think about it I realize that our baby is actually much better off where he/she is. He never had to go through life in this fallen sinful world, but instead he gets to live every day with the Lord! That's so wonderful. It doesn't take the sadness away completlely, but it is a wonderful comfort!
Josh and I moved from our apartment to a mobile home about a mile from his parents farm in
Utica, OH last weekend. Moving is a lot of work!! This was the first time I've ever moved, besides coming up here with Josh after we got married. It's a lot of work to pack up a whole house and clean and bring it all to a new house and set it all back up and clean some more. I have new respect for those of you that have moved several times! :-) We were very thankful for Josh's dad, who came and helped move all the heavy things, and Marci (Josh's mom) was a big help to me yesterday unpacking the last few things, hanging pictures on the walls, and doing little things that make the house seem much more homey. It was fun to visit with her too! :-) One of the families from church was also kind enough to make us a WONDERFUL supper with VERY GOOD brownies for dessert so that I didn't have to cook while we were trying to get settled into the new house. If you are reading this, thank you very much again!!!! :-) I will post pictures of the new house soon.
Last night Josh and I went an
d played softball with friends, which was a lot of fun. Josh always impresses me with how good he is at that game! He plays ball like he does his work, hard and to the best of his ability- and it shows, both in his work and in his skill in baseball. :-) I'm not very good at playing yet, but I'm learning. It's a lot of fun to do things like that with friends!
Today it is raining, and I am thankful because we have needed some more rain. It'll make my flowers bloom too! :-) One of my favorite things about this hou
se is all the flowers around it. I was hoping to go for a walk this afternoon with my friend Rachel though, so hopefully it won't rain ALL day. :-)
Well I need to go get busy. I hope you all have a wonderful day!! ~ Brittany

Richly Blessed

I just wanted to write a short post about this week. As some of you know, I had a miscarriage. It was very early in the pregnancy- we weren't even sure I was pregnant until I started having the miscarriage. I wanted to tell those of you that don't know and ask for prayer for Josh and I, and I also wanted to thank the ones who do know for your prayer and support. My wonderful husband Josh, my parents, Marci and Elizabeth, you have all been a great blessing to me.
I've been reminded over the last few days just how much God has blessed me with Josh, who has been a strong, loving ,comforter, and who I love more and more every day; and with my mom and Marci, who have encouraged me and prayed with me, and for me, and cried with me; and my dad, who has encouraged me and comforted me. I am richly blessed and very thankful for your love, encouragement and support.
While Josh and I are very sad, we are at peace with the Lord's will, and that we will be blessed with children in His perfect timing if it is in His plan for us. Thank you again for your love and prayers.

I'm Finally Back!

Hello! I'm sorry it's been so long since I've posted anything! We have been really busy. We have a couple exciting
and fun things going on right now. The most exciting thing for us is that we are going to be moving next week! We are moving to a house right down the road from Josh's parents house. We are really looking forward to being back in the country! The apartment we live in now has been a wonderful blessing, and our landlords have been very kind, but we have really missed being in the country. We didn't take to living in a neighborhood very well! :-)
I'll post pictures of the house when we get settled in to the new place! It has a small yard, several flower beds, a picnic table, a volleyball net, and great neighbors! :-)
Next week I will be very busy with packing. I will try to post pictures of that too! Right now though, I wanted to post some pictures of the newest member of our family ~ our new kitten Patsy!

We think she is just a few weeks old. Josh's mom found her in a shed on their farm. She is so cute!

Here she is touching noses with Geno, who we think is her Dad. :-)

She is pretty spoiled!

Well, I have really been enjoying this spring. Haven't you? All the flowers, the baby animals the beautiful weather..... it's been wonderful! I thought I'd post a few pictures I've taken just for fun. ;-)

I saw these tiny little flowers while I was sitting in the grass one day. They were so tiny it was a little hard to see them. There were some even smaller little yellow ones that I tried to take a picture of but it didn't come out very well. It reminded me that God puts beauty all around us. We just have to be aware enough to see it, and not take it for granted.

I love hummingbirds :-)

Well that's all for now. I'll try to write more soon!
